Investigations falling within the litigation support domain often involve multiple phases drawn from our research and field operation services.    The phases are assembled to maximize the objective discovery of facts associated to the situation at hand within the context of potentially being evaluated as evidence by jurists in the future.    In personal injury matters we generally initiate by gathering existing records regarding the incident to supplement client provided information prior to engaging in our own field surveys such as scene assessment and photography.    In non-compete and commercial litigation we recommend industry and subject profiles be developed prior to conducting overt inquiries such as surveillance or human intelligence gathering.   In medical malpractice or nursing home abuse cases we familiarize ourselves with facility and practitioner background and form of neglect / injury and then apply this to highly structured outlines that are used while developing witnesses during an interview process.    Even in the service of

process, which some less successful operators approach as a "go through the motions" routine procedure, we first engage in identification and residential verification research so our field investigators know the “who, what, where, and when” of the named party prior to knocking on a door.
